Roberto Assagioli, the founder of the Psychosynthesis movement, proposed the Will Project as “a program of research on the will and its applications”. The idea was to look at all aspects of the human will, and all ideas and philosophies relating to the will. As such, the Will Project was intended to explore volition and the will far beyond the core teachings on the will that are central to Psychosynthesis.
This website offers reprints of articles and books relating to the will, as well as my own research and notes. The original Will Project website continues to offer a structured online presence based on Assagioli’s outline and suggestions. I highly recommend that you read through the articles on the original site to get a good understanding of the history of the Will Project and some of the concepts relating to the will.
